Inventory counts for buying or selling a store
When a store changes hands, the inventory is part of the price. Buyers and sellers both need a number they can trust, counted by someone who isn't on either side.
Who it's for
- Buyers who want to know what they are paying for
- Sellers who want a fair number for their stock
- Brokers who need a count for closing day
- Partners splitting or reorganizing a business
How it works
- Call me as soon as you know your closing or transfer date.
- I count the store, usually on or just before the day it changes hands.
- Your report is ready 15 minutes after I finish, so you can close the deal.
- If anything is off, I'll come back and recount it for free.
Why owners call me
- You get the owner, not an employee, with 28 years of experience
- Your report 15 minutes after the count
- A free recount if the count is off
- Travel included in the quote, anywhere in my seven-state area
Common questions
When should the inventory be counted in a store sale?
Usually as close to the transfer as possible, often the same day, so the number matches what actually changes hands. Call me as soon as you have a date.
Can both the buyer and seller be there?
Yes. Both sides are welcome to be there while I count.
How fast do we get the numbers?
The report is ready 15 minutes after I finish counting.
